Mürren is a traditional Walser mountain village located just below the Schilthorn at 1,650 metres above sea level. This idyllic village is car-free. It has 450 residents, its own school, as well as an English and a Roman Catholic church. Mürren is suitable as a starting point for hikes and is an attractive location for winter athletes who would like to enjoy the magnificent view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
