Follow the purple sign No. 1 marked “Muoschbachweg”. The Muoschbach Trail starts at Iseltwald village square and travels along the Mülibach to the waterfall. The Mülibach waterfall crashes over a cliff edge several metres into the void where it gathers in a pool before flowing into Lake Brienz. A bench behind the waterfall is an inviting place to stop and take a break. Pause for a while and listen to the sound of the rushing water. Further along the trail towards the part of the village called Fura, you reach Silboden and then Muoschbach. From here the trail runs through beautiful forest and meadows back to the village. On the way you pass the Louberli animal sanctuary, which is well worth a detour! The area around Louberli was awarded the Cultivated Landscape Prize for the East Oberland region on account of its high biodiversity.
