Winterwanderweg Hörelirundweg (Adelboden)

Hörnliweg offers the walker an expedition through deeply-snowed forests, over glistening snow fields and past typical Bernese highland farmhouses. The climb towards Hörnliweg is down the valley from the village at Schmittengraben. From there you climb upwards through the Schlegeli chalets, past snowfields and through forests to Taubenfels rock.The path is well sign-posted and forms a semi-circular bow above Adelboden. In addition to the snow fields, forests and farmhouses, a fantastic mountain panorama opens up giving a clear view over Adelboden towards the valley end. For those wishing to walk the path in the opposite direction, the trail begins at Märitplatz in Vorschwand. This circular route is a favourite Sunday afternoon walk of Adelboden locals.
