Located just a 10 minute walk from Interlaken West, and 20 minutes from Interlaken East, we are located just outside the town center. We are approximately 10 minutes from Interlaken West train station and 20 minutes by foot from Interlaken Ost train station. From the main street, follow Marktgasse to Unterseen and our property is on the right hand side. If driving, there is free guest parking on request, located three minutes walk from the hotel. If guests are arriving early or late, we can arrange to arrange a check in.
If arriving by train at Interlaken Ost:
Take bus #104 and ride it to the stop Unterseen, Stadthausplatz, about 15 minutes, and walk around the corner to the Aare River and you will see the property on your left.
Walk 20 miniutes alongside the Aare River on the pedestrian walkway toward Unterseen and you will arrive at the Hotel on your righthand side just before the Bridge Schaalbrücke.
Take a 5 minute taxi ride approx CHF 15-20
Arriving by train Interlaken West:
Walk along the main street (Bahnhoffstrasse) one full city block and turn left onto Marktgasse by the Coop supermarket. Follow this little street toward the old town of Unterseen crossing the river twice. The hotel is right in front of you on the right. Walk time 15 minutes.
Bus #104 Direction Unterseen to the stop Stadthausplatz, about 5 minutes, and walk around the corner to the Aare River and you will see the property on your left.
Taxi to The Aarburg for 5 minutes approx CHF 10-15
Arriving by car:
Drive directly to Beatenbergstrasse 1, 3800 Unterseen and enter reception from the front door. Use the parking right out the front of the building alongside the river if possible, or the public parking just beyond our building. We will provide you with Free guest parking three minutes from the building. Please contact us ahead of time to secure a place.
