“Winterheart-Interlaken” – The Home of Winterfeeling

With the support of Montreux Noël, this heavenly Christmas market will present as many as 50 lavishly adorned stands in Interlaken’s Kursaal Park. Lined with striking and festively illuminated sculptures, the Lichterweg (lantern path) leads visitors on a pleasant stroll from Interlaken Ost station to an enchanting Christmas market in the heart of Interlaken. Gaze in wonder at the eight-metre tall Christmas tree, which you and your loved ones reach via a 10 metre-long, atmospherically lit tunnel. What’s more, Father Christmas will be paragliding in to the Höhematte every day to pick up the imaginative wish lists of young visitors from the Santa Post Office.

As the sun goes down, five spectacularly lit buildings reveal their full splendour. Seen from above, these five radiant points will form Interlaken’s Christmas star for this year. As if that weren’t heartwarming enough, an illuminated reindeer will also rise over Kursaalgarten Park. If the sight seems familiar, that’s because the reindeer is the symbol of Montreux Noël, which we are welcoming to Interlaken. This sea of ​​lights will continue to illuminate Interlaken until the early part of March.
