In the shadow of the Harder to the north of the city, overlooking the snow-capped Jungfrau to the south, disused and unsold Christmas trees find a second home on Interlaken’s Höhematte in the beginning of the year. When the icy cold winds blowing from Lake Thun to the west and Lake Brienz to the east converge in Winterlaken, the labyrinth offers a haven where you can immerse yourself in a magical world for a short time, mingling with guests and locals and forgetting the world outside. Shaped like a snow crystal, the Winter Park on the Höhematte invites visitors to relish the magic from daily 8.30 am to 9.30 pm from 11 january to 2 march 2025.
