- Start: Wengen - Hunnenfluh
- Destination: Wengen
From the village centre of Wengen, a relatively flat trail leads via Ledi to the Hunnenfluh. On the way, the trail offers breathtaking views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. From the Hunnenfluh you can enjoy a great view into the Lütschental and further down to Interlaken. From here it is time to strap on the snowshoes. You then climb through a wild and romantic forest for 20 to 30 minutes to the Leiterhorn. On the way, the snow-covered path offers views of Wengen and the mighty Jungfrau. Once you reach the Leiterhorn, an incredible view of the 4000-metre mountain range and the deep Lauterbrunnen valley awaits you. Those with a head for heights can enjoy an imposing, almost 700-metre vertical view down to Zweilütschienen on the north side. The subsequent way back is via Ussri Allmi and Lägerweidli along a not too steep forest path down to Wengen.
